After Matt Lauer was fired from NBC News after allegedly engaging in "inappropriate sexual behavior," Twitter users voiced their support for the 61-year-old female journalist who famously announced her departure from Today in 2012.

Reportedly, tension between Curry and Lauer played a role in her ousting.

As we reported, on Wednesday, the Guam-native responded to the news by telling People she is "still really processing" Matt's sexual misconduct drama.

Despite what you may think, Curry "isn't relishing" in Lauer's day from hell. An US Weekly source explained:

"Everything has been insane for Ann today... Everyone has been very supportive of her though and offering kind words. She has been very diplomatic when responding to people and isn't relishing in it as people might think she should be... She has been getting so many phone calls that people can't even get through."

Ann officially left NBC News in January 2015 after 25 years.
